Always a friend around

It is good also to find the loneliness, at least for a short time. Girls went to meet their Polish girls friends, Kasha and Zoshia. I took advantage to stay all day at home, firstly to cure my viroses, today for the first day after two weeks I felt better. But also to rest, do nothing or do just few things that I wanted, in the computer and in the canvas. To be honest I was not completely alone, I was left in the company of Olivia's close friend Trombas.

Tom and Jerry

The house was full of good energies and smiles from our guests. Vasco left early after woke up, I hope he was not upset for sleeping with me, I tried to behave good in bed :) And Gosha was with us until evening, Only in then she left to Reading. Let us see what will born from the new friendship between Vasco and Gosha, we are patronizing this. Olivia and Justyna were very happy to spend all day with Gosha, Olivia had new books read by new Polish mouth and Justyna could talk and talk with her close friend from the studies in Krakow. I was a bit out in the morning because I went to the Hospital to drop again a bit of blood for the regular tests.

During this year we had almost weekly visits of Luciana, a Psychoanalyses student which we helped, actually Olivia helped her just let to be observed by her eyes. Today was the last observation, Olivia must be happy because she never liked this, She felt that she was under scrutiny.

Justyna took Gosha to the train station in the evening and all evening and night was for me and Olivia, It was good time together, We laughed so much with the adventures of Tom and Jerry, I always loved that pair of friends and it is always great to review them.

Please forgive me

Not always is Olivia who needs to apologise to me, today it was me who needed to apologise to her, For a small and insignificant thing I got out of me and I screamed with her, after I felt even more upset and bad with myself. Screaming is never the best way to teach whatever I want to Olivia, The problem is never with her it is rather with me, I must be careful to not get out my frustrations on her.

The good thing about the kids is, is in the next moment they forget and forgive Us. The afternoon has been the opposite, I have been found my calm and relaxation, There was a lovely Reiki session where for the first time I found a sea of purples.

Now we are having a large family night, Justyna has her friend Gosha in London to visit us and also Vasco come to spent the evening with us. It is great to have our friends around.

Dragonfly

This Monday we took advantage again of the Open day in our neighbours Barnet Country side centre and we went there to spend the morning until become time to Olivia goes to the nursery. It is a very simple place but it has a lot of charisma, All breaths nature. It is good to go a just seat down, have a tea, play a game and walk around to see the ponds, different trees and flowers, like in a bush. Today while we were relaxing playing a game we were invited from one of the ladies to come to a pond and see the Dragon flies that are just now after 5 years of living in the water emerging and soon they will use their wings to fly and then dye after only 15 days.

Olivia in the nursery and Justyna at home, I was free to join a neighbour who come to pick me up to go to watch his group of friends playing indoor bowls, The game was disputed inside the church, They just moved the chairs open the carpet over the floor and game was ready to start. It was surely boring but I like sometimes the boredom, I was seating down for more than two hours watching the throwing their bowls, This time I could not play has I did not have the right shoes to play over the carpet, Probably next time. But the best was to meet new people and spend time with my neighbour Jim, I like him very much, and has the good thing of speaking all the time, so at least I do not need to worry about that.

Flying high

The body is telling to stop but the mind wants to carry on, to have fun and avoid times not doing nothing or thinking nothing. Today, I had this invitation to see an exhibition of a group of artists in one of those artist's house, One of those artists is my art class teacher, Christine Watson, I could not miss it and to show how proud I am of her. It was wonderful to spend time around all the circles of Art, there was ceramic works, sculpture, textile and paints. Olivia did behave wonderful considering that there was plenty of dliticated scupulturs and ceramic works around. Christine was telling me how embarrassing was yesterday to see a kid breaking one big pot, But our Olivia was more like a cat in a porcelain house. It was a day to learn a lot or better to borrow some inspiration.

When we are happy in one place it is sensible to go back, so it was what we did, we all went back this afternoon to the East Barnet Festival, the one with plenty of music, activities and also funfairs. We did all to see Olivia having fun, there were chocolates, ice-creams, crisps but overall plenty of carousels, She literally was flying all the time. This thing of feeding the happiness of a child not only with things, objects but also with immaterial things is always a never ending process, It is like feeding something that never will be full. Any mistake or missing something and we are back to the beginning again.

Last thing just to tell that I am happy with a small Radio that I picked up today from the freecycler, Now we can listen music in the Kitchen.

In the carousels

I took a risk of challenging my virus, I am better from the flu but it is not definitely gone. Today with such a lovely day outside I could not stay at home all the time, We went in the morning to a reading story session for kids in the Waterstone's, This event has been advertised for a weeks but apparently only Olivia had turned out, The poor lady that was the reader was already thinking that she will be off but Olivia did not allowed her to stay without working, Olivia wanted to listen two stories.

I do remember to say and to write here in the blog once after one of those unforgettable appointments with the oncologists :( after so many bad emotions for all of Us and even more to Olivia as she does not know all the full story yet, I promised to her and here, the first time a Funfair would come around our home we will go altogether to enjoy and have fun in the carousels, and today it came the day, Olivia was in a different Universe, enjoying the small carousel and the cars and myself in the Big carousel.

Sleeping Beauty

The worst is the night and morning, my flu does not want to go away, I have been trying with steam water, probiotic, yokult yogurt, honey, But so far I have been unable to beat the virus. Today I went to the GP, he examined me and at least for him it looks only a simple inflammation of the respiratory system, and he advised me antibiotic. I will keep the antibiotics in a hold, as I would like to keep myself also away from that drugs as much as it is possible. For the same reasons I decided to not take anymore the Clarytromicine that I was having daily, to not kill all the good bacterias. Apart from my trip to the doctor I stayed the rest of the day at home, I did some painting and relaxed.

Olivia had a day out with Justyna, She keeps mastering her dancing skills. And seeing how much she loves to read the book of the Sleeping Beauty I can predict that her first ballet dancing will be the same Sleeping Beauty. The day had almost a tragic chapter when the Olivia's friend, the Elephant disappeared and was already given lost by Olivia. They went back to the ballet classes but the teacher sadly also did not find the elephant. But it was me who discovered it inside my bed. Olivia when back home was very happy to find again her close friend and mate of her sleeping waiting for her in the door. So the beauty is again sleeping with the elephant or Trobas for us.
