Volta a Portugal em bicicleta

I am very grateful to a compatriot, she is a Portuguese lady that I met in the Freecycle some time ago, today again she called us because she would like to give to Olivia few more toys and clothes from her older daughter. Olivia still does not fit in most of the clothes but the Little People she loves it. To reach her house we all went trough the streets of London in a race equivalent to the the major race of bicycles in Portugal, the only thing is that London is not in Portugal.

At lunch we had the visit of Vasco, unlike Vasco da Gama, our Vasco gets always lost to get our home. If Vasco da Gama would be like my friend instead of the Portuguese reach India would probably reach firstly Australia. Actually some historians says that it was the Portuguese the first Europeans to reach Australia. Such a rubbish conversation this one today, Forgive me :)

In the afternoon we moved for all week to Shuby's house, This to help Tazz his recover as Shuby might need to go away for a few days. It is a pleasure to could help them as well. Today Tazz come home from the hospital, he is better but we can see that he is still very weak.

Born to be wild

Olivia only wants to be outdoors, is there in the open space in contact with the nature where she finds her perfect atmosphere, like a fish in the water. Whenever we tell her that we are going out she jumped, smiles and fourth direct to the door. She feels now even more the difference after been in Portugal.

Outside she does not stop, If we ask her to come in one direction she will go in the opposite, The normal thing. She wants to touch at all dogs and to hug the trees, perhaps to get energy from them.

Tazz a special animal

Today my first words is going to Tazz, a beautiful dog and very warm animal, He is very friendly and a member of all our family. He is at the Hospital at the moment but I am sure he will be good soon and spread his innocent and gracious smile through Shuby's house. The friends are for life. Special Olivia loves him.

In the Afternoon I needed to go to Kings Cross to sort out papers, I went back to a place where I lived for 3 years when I come to London, unfortunately Bill was not there. This area it really become a hub, a lot of people and traffic everywhere. Afterwards more business were expected us, I went to a college in Camden to enrol to a course. Starting as a beginner I will try to get some skills in drawing and painting, I am looking forward to start the course that will run for 12 weeks. I think also it will be good to get me more out of house and do something that I think I like.

There we went to Cafe Lisboa to taste some Portuguese snacks and Justyna had her Latte or Galao. And to attest how small is the World, outside we met a former patient of UCL when I was hospitalized there last year, The life has not been easy for him, unfortunately the loneliness and the sugars as he is diabetic are his worst enemies, It was sad to see him. I felt so even more upset with myself because I could not do nothing.

In the evening I noticed that past exactly today a year since the first operation, It is a day to remember as everything started in this day.

In the evening we had the visit of Kasha & Rafi, it was very enjoyable their presence, We could laugh a lot.

In honour to our blood, half Portuguese and half Slavic and both people deeply influenced by the nomads Gypsy, we decided to set a Estendal or tenter in our house, additionally to the barrack of Olivia set in the living room. The space is not too much, the weather is not helping and the clothes are too much. If this fashion sticks around soon our neighbourhood will be entitled the Lisbon of London. In the future we are thinking to go to Thames to wash clothes.

We both like very much the traditional Lisbon with with clothes hanged in the facades.

Today I might have done too much, I went alone two times to the park with Olivia, after I had a very sharp pain in the back, also my sugars drop, Then I was very stressed. I think it is the nervous that are around me and are influencing the body, Today I felt discomfort every where, Now at home I am already much better.

Daniel in his first aniversary

Hello,

For thousand reasons it was a shame we were not today in the Algarve, 999 reasons you already know but the other one is we could be in the anniversary party of Daniel. We only could witness by the Messenger, Any way we could taste the spirit and see how Daniel was happy, Congratulations and take it easy because much more will come and we hope to be present.

In the afternoon we took a break of doing nothing and went to visit our friend Shuby, We all missed her as well as Tom, Ryan and Taz. It was wonderful to be together again around the table, making me remember Portugal. Also was lovely to meet for the first time Shuby's friends and now ours, Pary and Russa. Olivia was very happy to meet her new friends. The conversation was very warm and friendly, from somebody that wants very much the good of each other.

In the evening we arrived at home to see the anniversary of Daniel in the Internet, The tea in our home was very joyful with Ryan, speaking openly about life and our experiences. Secrets in between friends.

The hut

Seen that Olivia is already so independent from us we decided to let her a fraction of the flat. Her space is not more than a small hut, but she can find there her privacy, can play with her dulls and toys without giving any satisfaction to us. For now she only comes out to eat and sleep.

I have been a bit more distress, the digest is not been easy and I been feeling discomfort in the abdomen. I am missing Portugal. It will takes time to feel at home again.

Narcissus

Long morning we had today, I needed to do blood tests and be on time for the CT scanning, all in the Royal Free Hospital. Nevertheless it took me more than two hours to finished the photographic session. I did not expect in August the Hospital been so busy, I guess the diseases does not have days off. Now just wait for the next week when I will meet doctor Fusai to discuss the results, fingers cross is the only thing I can do.

Olivia and Mummy waited for me outside in the Park, cause with this epidemics, we never know were is the virus.

Olivia is feeling in love for the first time, apparently to herself. It is the way the Love in her soul starts to flourish. Maybe that is why she already does not listen us and do not follow us.
