Frida Kahlo

A special day was waiting for us today, we went to Luis parents house in the S. Bras de Alportel, The house and its context was amazing, inside it made me remember very much the house and the gardens of Fridas Kahlo's house, And for coincidence within also lives an artist as Jose Amancio, Luis father is a very talented man as well. But the day gathered all the emigrants, Me, Carla, Sofia and Filipa and our families, A day was so relaxed only happen when we are with people that we love.

Olivia could play with her friends Rodrigo and Francisco, By the way she still do not know but she is now on already committed and engaged for the future with one of Carla and Luis sons, It was good business Compadres :)

Now we are all tired, tomorrow I will post some pictures.

In the spotlight

After the Sueste Winds, the sea allows us to go to visit the caves by boat, I done already few times, The success is guaranteed. We started in Praia Sra. da Rocha and back in the Carvalho beach. The weather was hot :)

Here we found a group of people in the spotlight for accident, Sometimes the life is like that. We can be always been watched when we do not expect, means individually we can change the course of a life from somebody with our ignorance Justyna was delight with the caves, Olivia was almost fall asleep There is holes everywhere, we think that the whole thing can fall over at anytime

It has been difficult to carry on with my readings, easily I am getting distracted with Olivia and her sand castles. Constantly me or Mum needs to be vigilant with water around.
But I have been trying to revisit the books of Jack Kerouac, now on the road. With all my modest it is a style that I have deeply influences :) But instead of narrating long trips around the States I prefer to write my small voyages within hospitals but also outside, Against is prose bohemian hedonistic I am more Ascetic, fruit of forced situation and experience in hospitals. But I love that style almost free :)

Olivia has been great, apart of her resistance to fall asleep, nothing is perfect.

Low tide

We are observing a phenomena of an extreme low tide here in the shore, The moon has been renewing and are faraway from this latitudes, that is why in the beach the water is very low and back. Olivia and Daniel appreciates that so much, they can enjoy the small polls left from the water going back, This also gives an extra beauty to the beach, we can go around and pick up some stones, today I found one with a hearth shape, This is Love.

Olivia will miss her new friend Carolina, they met in the beach in the first weeks we arrived, but now she is leaving as her parents are finishing holidays. But there are three other friends to play, Gab, Joseph and Maria.

Lições para a vida

One year has gone since I started to write in this space, So many things happened since then, But I prefer to do not do too many considerations or reflections about that as I am in holidays and the brain went for hibernation as well. The good thing about the resting time is for the first time is passing days and I do not remember about the Cancer, The painless helps but also the environment contributes for that. We are living our dream :)

I remember in one of my first posts I said that it will come the day that I would explain the reasons for this title lições para a vida, lessons to life. Why not lições de vida or lessons from life, This is because I pretended to show that since the beginning I was more interested to give a lesson to the entity Life than learn with the life. Sometimes showing our self bigger than we really are or bluffing helps to chase the danger.

This afternoon John and Wilf went back to London, We will miss our walks, But our friends Maria, Joseph and Gabi arrived today

Unfortunately we needed to say goodbye to Veena and Krishna, It was such a lovely time. Thank you. After I took Justyna and Olivia to old town of Faro. The city is beautiful but there are signs that showing that the economic depression is also around, A lots of buildings are in ruins and the streets are empty. Even tough we refuse to go to the new and without charisma modern Faro. So the breakfast was on a esplanade in an old street. Olivia had space to walk around and met another canine friend Jimmy

Olivia did not want to sleep her sesta, instead we went to the beach to enjoy the strong Sun. The normal day was broken up by a snack that flown from the cliff down to the beach, The poor animal was still squeezed in a rock at the time we left the beach of Albandeira, Everybody wanted to help the creature but all were frightened by the myths that surrounds the snacks, Also I was a coward as I could not take it up tot he bush

Sueste is gone

We had the last evening meal with Veena and Krishna as tomorrow they are going already back to London, It was rely a great time having them here. Unforgettable holidays for all of us, Even the waves gone and the water was warmer today. They spread a lot of laugh around, The evenings were always a big fun.
