KO

I need to be careful as I am starting to feel ill, bit of fever to copy Olivia and also a lot of sleepless. Olivia was coughing must of the night and I could not rest. Additionally, a busy day make me now completely K.O. I went to the centre to try to help a friend, but unfortunately I could not.

I checked just now and have got fever, so the aim is one paracetamol and switch off :)

Saint Nicholas

Traditionally in Poland today the kids should receive a small gift, in honour to this Saint that liked to give everything away. Olivia had lucky and found a Yo-Yo under her pillow. Plus another chocolate in another sock from her Advent calendar, we can say that she started wonderfully the day. Just there was not much time to taste the gifts atmosphere, it was a busy morning. Watch another school and to Olivia see again the doctor, as she has been with fever and coughing. Regarding to the school, we had now made our mind to which school we would like to enrol her, or put in the first place of the choices, though is not guaranteed the place. Amazing how since very early we faced this choices, what is good and best for the kids, to make them better. I am aware of this at least, it is all what I can do, so far.

My regular afternoon Reiki session become such a good moment for me, It is definitely a nest of positiveness, and it is helping me a lot. Back home I had a great time with Olivia just watching the Pink Panther. So good memories.

Lastly, just to write the outrages decision of this Portuguese government, Without any mercy they arose exponentially the prices for any service provided by the Portuguese National System. I was looking to the prices and I could not believe it, I still think that it must be a joke. all this happens because they know that the rich are not going to this places.

Advent calendar

I am already more in the kitchen doing company to the family, in the end it was not necessary to bring the bed or sofa to the kitchen to see myself passing more hours with the family, as until now I was often closed in my bedroom. Even the first blood test results were positives, nothing to worry until the moment. By the way, speaking about changes at home, tonight Olivia moved her bath to our bedroom, because the Winter has now arrived and the toilets were too frozen for Olivia's bath.

Bit late, but better than ever and Olivia is already opening her small gifts from the home made advent calendar, today was a chocolate inside one of the socks :) Until Christmas Olivia will have the belly full of chocolates.

With so much time free I managed today to finish read another book from Jose Rodrigues dos Santos, Furia Divina, To be honest I had bigger expectations regarding to the book, but at least it was very entertaining.

Eternal moments

There is no words to describe the sensation of having friends at home, For coincidence we had two different friends visiting us this afternoon. We had the visit of Angie, who works is the Royal Free Hospital and we become friends because of her lovely smile and always a warm word whenever we crossed in the Hospital corridor. But, also and finally we met personally Fotini, wife of Nuno, who lives in Seattle. Olivia stole almost all her time and attention from us. It was good to be close to Nuno in same way :)

In the evening, I am enjoying a lot just to be our own three in the warm of our bedroom, because of Olivia being sick she was authorized to sleep with us, She is now sleeping but also warming up my legs and Justyna is reading using the same lap as me. Small things but eternal.

Christmas in the horizon

I could not wait for this day, to put the Christmas tree out and dress it, Olivia was even more exited than me with the idea of nativity, naturally. I hope the tree will help to give me more energies and to improve my spirit. Justyna passed all day around the cooking, she went to shop and cooked few meals. Tomorrow, we will have the visit of friends, afternoon and evening will be busy. We cannot wait.

bedmania

There was no patience for nothing, I have got this days once in a while, It is like if the light of the Sun did not exist today. I excused myself in a lot of reasons to be in bed, around a book an computer. I am tired and I do not know where to feed my energies. Olivia did not go to school again because of her stye but even being with her did not boost my mood. Let us wait for a shiny days.

Building up for Christmas

Olivia did not go to school, because of her eye infection, We always try as much as possible to not give antibiotics to her, but this time the doctor said to Justyna that Olivia must have it, as the infection could become more serious. Often, Olivia has this swelled eye, sometimes in right side eye sometimes in the left side one. Myself also needed to go to he Hospital in order to have my first blood checking after the radiotherapy. I was happy having all my princesses around me.

Even if I do not pass in the High Street, I am feeling the Christmas getting closer, at least in my soul, I like very much this season. In my Art class today I really enjoyed to paint few Christmas cards. But Olivia also has the spirit inside herself, she started to do her Christmas cards to deliver to her friends.
