I am so sorry to tell you the real truth about the legend of the Padeira de Aljubarrota, She is a real heroine as it comes in the books of Portuguese History, She was a brave woman that helped to expel the Moors from Portugal and much more, but such a strong female unfortunately did not born in Portugal-Algarve, but she came from faraway Slavic destinations, from the Polish Empire. Nowdays she is retired cooking bread for her family in the Algarve.
