Olivia dating Ronald

Today was a mad day for Justyna, She started and will finish the day only working in her essay, She only has few more hours to submit. I only have a minute in the computer so I only tell you that my day was walking around with Olivia in the dependence of her date with the boys. Today she wanted to meet Ronald, probably he will be the Cristian Ronaldo of the football.

Tomorrow starts a fantastic but busy week end, The girls meeting will be hosted in my home. We will have the visit of our girl friends from Portugal, They will be 5 plus 2 from home. The house will be full of girls, and my head will boil with this prevalence of the female.

Endorphin after Adrenalin

The day started with the adrenalin on the top but finished instead with endorphins on top. I will explain; Morning I went to the Royal Free Hospital and not UCL Hospital to have my exam done, something that I found out just before leave home, There I was again submitted to a different scans, complementing each other. I think it was not for any special reason but I become even more nervous when in the middle of the scan the doctors told me that they wanted my scan to cover bigger part of the body, until the higher chest, something that it was not in the plan. Again I was slightly in chock but afterwards I understood that this should not mean anything.

Additionally, the fact that my exam been postponed 2 hours due to an urgent case made me even more discomfort. This days can almost erase all the peace and rest got in a long holidays. My mind recalls everything about the Cancer experience, in contrast to the holidays when there were days when I forgot that I have a Cancer. But the day would let me forget again about the morning experience and feel the endorphin through my veins. Yes, it was Shubhy's birthday so it was time to celebrate. We went to Shubhy's house and had a happy evening with Tom, Ryan and Taz. It is great to have Shuby as a friend, It is never enough of having her close to us, For thousands reasons she makes me happier, but not only to me :)

Cold-blooded animal

The day was full of Olivia, Justyna spent the day trying to do her Essay. It is is already Friday when she will need to send over, Me and Oli went to the Play centre. It was a great time for Olivia, There was plenty of new sensory activities, She played with water and soap, with warm thou, and with sand. In the afternoon we went to revive our park. In between Olivia rested at home, When in bed she behaved as a lizard, always taking the most of the Sun light as is was a cold-blooded animal to keep warm the blood. Her face also did not hide her pleasant dreams, perhaps still Holland in her thoughts, remembering how for a while she was the Queen in Gouda, with her Castle and carriage to be transported. Also remember about her friends Kiko and Didi that she shared the days in the castle.

Tomorrow I will be already alone because I will need to go in the morning to the UCL Hospital to have another exam to the Liver and Spleen. The procedure does not brings any pain but I do not like because I will need to be injected with some radioactivity solution. But this test I have not done before and for what I read it is the best in the State of Art, giving the most detailed picture of the organs as possible. The results I only know in two weeks in the appointment with the oncologist.

Bye Bye Europe

As an English Man I would say bye bye Europe hello Great Britain. It was 2 weeks out in Holland and Belgium but I felt that would be longer, I almost got use with the routines there and I could repeat it for longer. I arrived at home but I am not over excited with that idea. We have been very well treated either in Holland or Belgium what made us missing there but not our home. Justyna and I are feeling rested, The holidays were definitely worth. Tomorrow back to the London Life, Justyna will start her Essay and me get ready for some exams in the Hospital for Wednesday. In the picture it is Oli and Justyna waving bye bye to France in the middle of the tunnel.

Kurtas club

I am writing this lines with Mi Mi, Filipa and Luis' kitty in my lap, The small animal is so sweet and beautiful, I almost forgot what is it to feel the warm of a pet at home. It remembers me my dream of having a dog at home, but this only when our life would become more stable. The last day in Holland and first in Belgium was unforgettable, Sensation of having a big family. In the morning we went with Luis and Carla plus all kids to say bye bye to the farm and the animals. The farewell was also for us as for Carla and Luis as they are also leaving Holland. It was fantastic time to be passing so much time with them, I am feeling as I had a long holidays in an exotic country. It was hard to leave our friends and the landscape of canals. But fortunately we took the train to Brussels and there we had another warm arms waiting to be hugged, The evening was lovely, I really missed this days with the company of old friends. Definitely the family is good but not everything, the friends also have their space in the heart. Now it is time to enjoy the last day before travel home

Say cheese Gouda!

Tomorrow we will leave our friends Carla and Luis and will go to Brussels to stay a day in also our friends Filipa and Luis house. We are already missing our days within this creche atmosphere, There are 5 kids at home, imagine when all of them cried, it is awful funny festival. Because of been the last days Olivia has been caught by Carla exchanging mobiles phones and email with the kids.

Today we had our last ride through the lakes, something very peaceful and unforgettable, listening the birds, bend all the time the bike to not step in any duckling, things that we do not have a chance to do often in London. Our walk today been joined for the first time by Carla as she could do a short break from the twins. The day was again spend around the table with the magic food sometimes cooked by Carla, others by Patricia and few by Justyna.

May peace prevail on Earth

As expected walking to the last days in Holland the weather is also getting better, But fortunately we matched the sunny day with a trip to the beach. We took a lift to Haia or Den Haag in Luis' car. This is a place that always recalled me Peace and Justice. There we went around the city, sightseeing the icons, Those are the majestic Peace Palace or Vredespaleis offered by USA and the Parlamento or Bieenhof. Although the impressive architecture, the old and the very modern buildings are well composed, what we really wanted was to see the beach.

The beach near is in Scheveningen, when we get there we decided to spend the rest of the afternoon there, to feel the sand and the water from the North Sea, to see the surfers getting the 10 cm waves formed by the tank that cruises the horizon in a snail pace, to taste a delicious Fish and ships. Olivia instead only chips, unluckily I mistaken a ketchup for a chilly sauce, the result was Olivia screaming with panic with her month on fire, But the water that was around helped to calm down.

Only after been with the skin burnt with burns of 1 st degree we were happy to back home in the train through the Dutch steppe.
