Happy Halloween

After half term and our Holidays, Olivia is now back to the school, Justyna was today very exited when was attributed today her role in the play in the nursery around Christmas time.

But of course today there was another party to celebrate, the day of the witches, For the second year I went around with Olivia for the trick or treat. This year Olivia was very much different than the last one, easily now she does friends and is not scare. Often I was myself scare when for a while I would lost her in the crowd.

Apple gang

There is a gang on the loose in the High Barnet, those are the Assuncao family, which attacks in the evening, using benches and torches and their primary aim are the Apple trees, the ones which are loaded and no body touches them.

By the way, Olivia told me to let you know that she is already pro in the buttoning

Make a Difference Day

We been invited to help to clean and plant new trees in the Countryside Centre near us, and of course we could not decline, It was more a pleasure than any other thing, to be honest the hard work like cleaning the roots and digging was taken by Justyna, Me and Olivia were taking the light jobs, picking up leaves. We had a great day around the countryside, Justyna loves the country but also Olivia looks that she has born in the forest. Olivia was very proud when in the she received a certificate of CSV Make a difference day.

Me and Olivia needed to do a break after lunch to go and buy pumpkins for the Halloween, We were convinced that the day of the witches was today, we were even almost ready to go for the trick or treat when we called Shubhy and we realized that we were wrong, Halloween will be only Monday.

Retrospection

The pictures do not let us to enjoy but at least let us to remember the good moments. Thus, we are still around the portfolio from Poland and of course thinking about those happy days.

Today, I already received the letter from the Hospital regarding to the next radiotherapy booking, It will be this 24th of November, just a month before Christmas :)

I was missing also a day out with Olivia, as we did this morning, just walk around to do the normal business, shopping, library. In the afternoon I met Bill in King's Cross.

Good morning

Long day, very early we started our journey, It was 7.00 AM and we were already in London. Now we are adapting to the real Life but also enjoying the memories.

Na razie

Today we are saying goodbye to everyone. Even if today I am a bit down, overall the days were fantastic, Nobody will forget these days :)

Polish retreat

How good is to not have nothing to do, Me and Vasco are discovering that. I finished the Kite Runner book, there is no good Internet, No TV, nothing to do. Then, I am sleeping more hours that a normal day has. Today we did a great walk to the forest, and tried to catch fish in our private lack, good that all of them were also sleeping. But the most important time of the day is still the meals. Vasco was telling and he is right, as this is like a retreat.

Wielkopolska

Back to Wielkopolska and we are now again in the calm and peace of Justina's parents house, Olivia is enjoying a lot to be with Vasco and of course to see her grandmother again. In England I will need to check my weight again, I have the perception that I put on weight with so much and so good food.

Today we met for the first time Kaska and Zosia since they left England, They both are beautiful.

Wrąbczyn Express

After 7 hours in the Express we arrived again in Justyna's parents house now, also with Vasco :) There was time to Olivia do a lot of friends among the passengers.

Life back

I am still living a dream, doing again things that I have not done since my life has changed and I did not think I would taste again, at least now. With the greatest companies as you can imagine we were discovering Krakow, All its secrets, I were also been looking for Jenyne Butterfly:) friend of Micchael, but we could not find. We are having such a good time.

In the fast track

The day was past at high speed, Morning in the fast track to get on time to the train to Warszawa and then to Krakow. Shame that Justyna's mother needed to be caught in the cameras by the police when she was flying in the car. But everything is OK. Great to arrived in Warszawa and meet Grzesiek, Ola and Bartek, And then we went to the airport to pick up another mosketeiro to the group- Vasco. Thus, all the four of us travelled down to Krakow. Great spirit and atmosphere, To be out in the Pub and around the crowd in the night is like to breath the same emotions that I was use to few years ago. I think the book that I just finished, the Kit runner also open my horizons, to give importance to what we have.

Gratulacje Justyna

There are plenty of reasons to not forget this day and to keep it in our hearts, Not always as now we feel so much the winds in our favor. Today Justyna had her birthday and I think we all had a wounderful day, In the morning me and Olivia cycled alone to the closest village to buy a plant to offer, It was very cold journey but worth. In the evening all the family come around and Justyna was very happy with the Love from them. She often gives, but today it was her day to receive some as well.

Amazons

Another day past around the fire place and within the family. Here I am finding a new routine where there is plenty of space for more meals, than ever. The food is really inviting to get full. Just regarding to mushrooms I still need to master my art of picking them up, as to my hands comes only the poisonous ones. The economy is very much dependent from the forest and the women are like Amazons, they do everything even the men's job.
One more thing that nobody can forget, Justyna will have her birthday tomorrow :)

Mushrooms hunting

We have been all day visiting the grandparents, from the father side in the morning and mother's in the afternoon. It was very relaxing and therapeutic my first experience picking up mushrooms in the forest, but even better to try them in the soup.

Grannie in the school

The Sunshine here in Wrabczyn is surprising me, It is very strong and invite us for a walks outside, at least in the morning because after it becomes chilly. We did a walk, at least we planned as we had a lift before we get to the village. We went to meet grandmother in her school, it was good feeling for Olivia to see her grannie with her pupils from the school. And it was funny to do the journey back in an very old coach, I am sure from the Communist days.

Bigger responsibility

We all had a big party today to celebrate Nikodem's baptism, Justyna has now on a bigger responsibility as she become his godmother. In spite of the parties I am finding more time to do what I like the most, to sleep but also to read. I am now reading The Kite Runner from Khaled Hosseini, it was a book recomended by a friend and so far it looks very worth.

Polish food

There we are in Polish land, not as cold as we thought and wanted, and it looks that even it will get warmer. This time I am feeling very relaxing and looking forward for the coming days, probably the reason for that is because it is the first time that I am coming here with good news in the luggage. It was great to see all the family and to taste the wounderful food that grandmother offered us. Olivia is also enjoying very much to stay with the family, specially with grannie.
